AL THOMPSON

Bio

Jamaican born Al Thompson moved to New York at age 16 where he studied art much like his earlier days. He then attended College to study graphic design and photography in 99’ where he won several awards. After just three years in College his decision to focus full time on photography was a major ‘leap in life’ he later described, so he started assisting popular celebrity and commercial photographer Isak Tiner.

With a background in fine arts, he carefully honed his craft over the years shooting fashion and portraits. Designers consistently seek his time for his ability to capture sexy with ethereal-like fashion with graphic textures as his staple.

Al was recently published in magazines La Vie (Taiwon), Intandem, Future Claw, Pushit (UK), Chaos, and Vain Mag.
